Ajay Devgan is riding high on the success of Omkara, and he came to Delhi to put some people in high spirits of a different kind. And though he was supposed to perform some stunts, all the expectant crowd got was a wave, a few claps, and a half-hearted attempt at tug of war. And that might not really make it to the list of stunts on too many movies.


He did come in a motorbike amidst a bit of fire and a hint of brimstone, but that was about as interesting as it was about to get. Ajay Devgan was in Delhi to celebrate, literally, the high spirits, and he was supposed to perform stunts himself. It makes one wonder - was tug of war on the list of stunts?


But of course, liquor promotion was bound to raise a few eyebrows, and some questions as well; and Devgan’s spin to those were almost as interesting as the interpretation of stunts was for the organizers. “I personally think it’s really harmful and it should not be done. But my personal opinion can differ from other peoples’ opinion”, said Devgan in defense.


Well, moral issues will certainly be subject to debate, but the fact does remain that Ajay Devgan as the bankable star has arrived; as for Devgan the stuntman? We’re hoping this exhibition is not a hint of things to come.
