this one is from Sa Re Ga Ma - what many felt was the best performance of this round and perhaps among the top performance all time for the show - Hemchandra singing Nahin Saamne from Taal. it's a beautiful number sung impossibly well in one take.
the guy was my pick for the top spot - easily the most trained and technically adept. not that the others were second-rate: Vineet i thought personally was the most consistent and Debojit despite not having the most forceful personality actually has a great voice suited for playback. all these guys have their individual rough edges - but nothing that can't be fixed in studios amidst retakes. amazing talent all round. wish i had recorded more of these especially when Nihira and Himanin were still around
