Director Priyadarshan has come up with an inventive idea to market his latest comic caper ‘Malamaal Weekly’ featuring comedy king Paresh Rawal as the lottery vendor.

The makers have decided to run a lottery across the country, on the lines of the film’s plot. The film is based on a poverty stricken village, whose people are fighting to win a lottery. Four hundred lottery tickets have been distributed and the winner will win Rs 1.2 lakh.

The lucky draw is scheduled for February 18 and the winner will be chosen by Paresh Rawal. The entire cast and crew of the film will participate in the lottery.
