Intruder arrested for braking into Jennifer Aniston home
Jennifer Aniston was left terrified after a man broke into her Californian home. The intruder has been arrested for trespassing.
The man identified by police as 48-year-old David Hesterbey of Santa Barbara, was being held in lieu of USD US500 (USD 660) bail, Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokeswoman Diane Hecht said.
Hesterbey walked into Aniston's beachfront home through an unlocked door at about 11:30 am. When entering the house, he was seen by Aniston's employees.
"When he saw the first employee he said he was looking for Jennifer," Diane Hecht said. "A second employee entered the room and startled the man, who ran out of the residence. He then jumped a fence and ran down the beach."
Sheriff's deputies spotted Hesterbey walking along the shore a short time later and took him into custody after he was identified as the intruder.
Luckily, the former 'Friends' beauty was not at home at the time of the break-in.
She is currently in Chicago shooting the romantic comedy 'The Break Up' for Vince Vaughn picture - but was reportedly left distraught after hearing of the incident over the phone.
Last week, Aniston was forced to hire a team of security guards after discovering her underwear had been stolen from the set of her new movie and sold on eBay.
The sexy star was horrified after finding a pervert had broken into her trailer and made off with her bras and knickers. The items later appeared on the popular internet auction site.
Aniston's private movie quarters are now being guarded round-the-clock and it is alleged she is now considering beefing up security at her home after the break-in.
