Her fans would scramble for her autograph. But Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra asked the Indian cricket team to sign a T-shirt for her when they were embarking for the ongoing world cup in the Caribbean.
It was coincidence that brought Priyanka on the same flight with Indian cricket team. Priyanka was leaving for UK in a British Airways flight when she learnt that the Indian team was traveling by the same flight.
Priyanka?s 17-year-old brother Siddharth, who came to drop her at the airport, saw the team at the airport and asked her to get his T-shirt signed by the players for him. Siddharth apparently is a great cricket fanatic.
On the night flight to London, Priyanka was in the executive class while the Indian team was in the business class of the flight. So Priyanka wrote a note for the cricket team, asked them to sign the T-shirt for her and also wished them best for the World Cup.
The Indian team happily signed the T-shirt for Priyanka. Some players even enquired her ailing father?s health. Priyanka was reportedly touched by their concern.
Priyanka herself is no great fan of Cricket, but she is hoping that India will win the cup this time.
Meanwhile, her brother Siddharth is absolutely ecstatic at having received a T-shirt signed by the entire Indian cricket team.
