Looks like the Shahrukh starrer ‘Don’ has given birth to Bollywood’s very own version of Lara Croft - Priyanka Chopra. The ex-Miss world seems to have moved away from her onscreen sultry siren image to the woman, who wears her attitude on her sleeve and does’nt think twice before unleashing her aggressive side.


From temptress to being the one with a temper, Priyanka Chopra might have started her Bollywood innings in the quintessential sex kitten mould but as the big banners roll in, it seems that the actress wants to trade in the sex symbol tag for that of a hot super heroine — a heroine, who doesn’t think twice before unleashing her wrath.


Priyanka’s shift in career strategy is rather apparent especially in light of the fact that she had undergone rigorous training for fight sequences in ‘Don’, dangling mid-air and performing somersault on New Year’s Eve. And the latest — an endeavour to learn a new desi martial art form called - Gatka — for her forthcoming film Drona, she is all set for her new makeover.


Priyanka has been looking to shed the ‘Oopmh’ tag for long and has conciously vied for roles that classify her as the eternal Bollywood heroine. What probably seems to have triggered the move was when she was dropped in favour of Aishwariya Rai to play the lead in J P Dutta’s epic Umrao Jaan, that was her cue to realise that she might never fit in as the enduring indian heroine.


Moreover, her recent choice of roles along with her current hobby to learn a martial art form seem to clealy hint that she wants to keep her sensous image, but tone it down with being a smart action heroine who knows her mind. And hey! when estrogen meets adrenaline the result can be quite potent! what say Priyanka?
