After making his presence felt amongst the big daddies of Bollywood with 36 CHINA TOWN last year, rising star Upen Patel would be having luxury aplenty as two of his
films release in a matter of fortnight.


First to arrive would be NAMASTE LONDON on March 23 which at the moment is being promoted as an out and out Akshay Kumar flick. Well, that sounds quite reasonable considering the fact that the film primarily revolves around Akshay’s character with heroine Katrina Kaif in tow.


But Upen may not really want to be disheartened since on April 06 arrives SHAKALAKA BOOM BOOM for which producer-director Suneel Darshan has ensured that he gets good enough mileage.


He has been given equal footage as Bobby Deol in all the promos so far while none of the interviews/publicity sessions of the film is complete without a mention of Upen’s anticipated rise to stardom.


With a lot depending on these two films for Upen, coming film season would be one that he would be waiting for quite impatiently!
