Farha, a production executive of Anubhav Sinha’s film Cash, who was arrested by the air intelligence unit of the customs department on Saturday for allegedly trying to smuggle currency outside the country, has been released on bail.


Farha was carrying $1 lakh in travellers’ cheques for the film unit. On being questioned by customs, she could not show her signature on the cheques as was required nor were the cheques endorsed on her passport.


The customs department was likely to question the forex dealer in this connection. Cash is produced by Sohail Maklai and stars Ajay Devgan, Zayed Khan, Esha Deol, Ritesh Deshmukh, Suniel Shetty and Shamita Shetty.
